M. O. D. E. L. 21 Lash Review

At six months old, I was adopted by the most wonderful parents a kid could have.  My immediate and extended family embraced me with open hearts and arms, and celebrated my arrival with a party.  My late Great Aunt asked if I would need sticky white rice to much on during the festivities.  XD  (It was an innocent inquiry; she truly had only the best intentions.)  The answer?  No...  but bless her heart!

Although stereotypes can be awful (and in some instances, downright funny), there is often a ring of truth behind them.  For example, Asians aren't typically blessed in the lashes department.  Short, sparse, and nearly non-existent, making them presentable can be quite a chore.

[Model x-12.  Retails for $6.95.]

[Model: x-r4.  Retails for $6.95.]

For a night out on the town, false lashes are a must.  I usually purchase drug store falsies, but doubt I will any longer.  I have discovered a new love: M.O.D.E.L. 21 Lashes.  They are made of sterilized human hair (or hair-like fiber), and range from natural to dramatic.  They are unbelievable!

PROS:  These lashes are delicate and light as a feather, yet durable enough that you can re-use them.  I have never worn falsies as weightless or comfortable as these.  Shipping is lightning fast.  And, at under $10.00 for a box of ten pairs, you cannot beat the price.

CONS:  The lashes require trimming at the band, as they are a bit on the long side.  (Don't throw the excess lashes in the garbage!  The trimmed ends can be saved and placed on the outer end of your lashes for a natural, lengthened look.)

Overall, I am extremely pleased.  I plan on recycling these lashes until they fall apart!

What falsies do you use?

I've only tried $1 ELF and $6 Ardell ones from CVS, but someone just told me about these Model 21 ones! I have a feeling that after I try these...the other ones will be history. Do you have photos of them on?

PAG - I usually use Ardell, too! I took a couple photographs of just my eyes with the lashes on, but they didn't turn out. :( I'll try to get some pictures up in the future so you can see what they look like once applied!

oooooo, I have heard of these!! I wasn't blessed with curly thick lashes, I was however blessed with long straight lashes that just won't curl! So for a night out, I need lashes that are easy to apply, these sounds like what I need, I need a soft band that is easy to apply :)

I'm gonna get to our email chains, but this week is just crazy, plus Rocky bit me with a puppy tooth. My thumb is useless, he bit through my flesh :( that's what i get for taking his steak packaging! (He was rummaging thru the trash and i took away the meat packaging and he tried to go after the packaging, and got my thumb instead!)

wait, you said, $7?!?!?!?! Why the heck do i not own these????

XOXO

I wanna see pics ;-)

Wow, love the suggestion! Ordered three boxes and some NARS. Love the inexpensive shipping, low prices, and additional coupon code (read: no guilt!). Now I'll just have to learn how to apply them... :S

Hey pretty! I always used to use the strip lashes until one day I tried the individual. I buy the Ardell brand (which are pretty cheap too) and once I put them on with the individual lash glue they will stay there for a little over a week. You just have to wash your face gently and not rub on them. I usually buy the short length since I wear them all the time and they look so natural but you can totally tell a HUGE difference it really opens up my eyes. Sometimes I'll use the medium length as well but they are better for special nights and not so much everyday. I'm probly gonna do a post on them with before and after pics soon :) xx

p.s. Just be extra careful not to mix your nail glue up with your falsie glue, HAHA! ;)

thanks for the review on these false lashes! My bf's mom actually bought me a whole bunch of these because I mentioned that I wanted to learn and practice wearing false lashes and the best part is that she lives in Vietnam and a box of these cost less than 2$ canadian! Now I don't feel bad if I screw up cutting the lashes lol
